What we collect
- Account details: your email address and a securely hashed password.
- Profile details you choose to add: name, date of birth, gender, height, city, background and career, your story, who you hope to meet, priorities, and family involvement.
- Photos you upload, and your partner preferences such as age range and location.
- Activity needed to run the service: introductions, your decisions, connections, messages, reports, and signed-in sessions.
Who can see what
Your profile is private until you consent to publication and it is approved. After that, only members you are introduced to can see your preview details and approved photos. Your email, date of birth (only your age is shown), matching preferences, and family settings are never shown to other members. Your description of who you hope to meet stays private unless you turn on “Share this answer on my profile.”
Authorized reviewers can see profiles and photos submitted for review, and reported content. Staff access to reports is recorded.
How introductions use your data
Introductions are made automatically by comparing the preferences you both set. No one hand-picks introductions, and you can pause or withdraw your profile at any time.
Messages and notifications
Messages are stored by the service and are not end-to-end encrypted. Notification emails never include message text or profile details. Marketing communication requires separate consent, which you can decline in Settings.
Your choices
- Edit, pause, or withdraw your profile from My profile.
- Download a copy of your data from Settings. Exports are available for 24 hours.
- Deactivate your account, or request permanent deletion.
Retention
A deletion request hides your account immediately and schedules removal after seven days. Your profile, photos, sessions, preferences, devices, and conversation records are then removed. Reports and explicitly attached evidence are kept for up to 30 days from submission. Minimal audit and deletion records are kept separately so that a deleted account is not restored from a backup.
